As we enjoy the last lovely summer days in the Netherlands, it's time to reflect on the past few months and prepare for the rest of the year. Members of the Aramis joint team have had a refreshing summer and are ready to ensure that all work is completed in accordance with our plans, which are based on reaching Dutch and EU decarbonisation goals.
Constructive partnerships
Three weeks ago in Stavanger, Norway, I had the pleasure of attending ONS, which is commemorating 50 years as one of the world's premier energy conferences. Along with Northern Lights, E.ON and Wintershall, Aramis was invited to discuss how CO2 transport and storage infrastructure is enabling future low-carbon hubs across the world. The panel discussion was very constructive and a really helpful way of looking at the balance between collaboration and competition within the CCS value chain. We explored how projects can structure partnerships and joint initiatives to comply with legal frameworks while also promoting efficiency and innovation in CCS.
And it was nice to spend some more time with Tim Heijn, Northern Lights’ managing director, and gain insight into the steps Northern Lights is making towards achieving a fully operational system.
